Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All the 1106 patients with Budd-chiarii syndrome were treated in the Department of Gastroenterology, Surgical Department of Vascular, Surgical department of Hepatobiliary, Shandong Provincial Hospital and the Shandong Institute of Medical Sereenage from 1987 to 2007; 2. The patients had the BCS syndrome more than 6 months, and had been conformed by the imaging examnation; 3. Patients signed the informed consent form before operation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with hepatic cirrihosis and hypertention not caused by BCS or other chronic liver diseases were excluded; 2. Patients with diseases which induced congestion of systemic circulation were excluded; 3. Patients with serious cardiac, cerebral and renal disease were excluded; 4. Patients in pregnancy or lactation were excluded.
