Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged between 3 and 7 years with an ASA ptysical status I or II, who were scheduled for either an sdenoidectomy alone or both an adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cardiac disease, developmental delay, abnormal upper airway, asthma, or a history of upper respiratory tract infection in the preceding 4 weeks were excluded
