18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosed as thymic tumor by pre-treatment biopsy; 2. locally invasive tumors defined by radiographic images (including stage IV cases whose pleural nodules or lymphnoeds are adjacent to mediastinal tumors); 3. cardiac and pulmonary function, as well as hepatic and renal fuction are good enough to tolerate surgery; 4. KPS score is better than 80.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. extensive stage 4 disease; 2. allergic to chemotherapy drugs (paclitaxel, carboplatin); 3. can not tolerate surgery; 4. in pregnancy.
