Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. This study was based on patients who were evaluated in our outpatient clinic for typical GERD symptoms with a frequency of acid reflux, heartburn and chest pain; 2. Medical history and laboratory tests can't diagnosed upper airway cough syndrome,cough variant asthma and eosinophilic bronchitis; 3. The treatment for those existing causes can't relieved cough completely.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patients who refused to accept multi-channel intraluminal impedance combined with pH monitoring (MII-pH); 2. The patients who couldn’t complete the MII-pH; 3. The patients who received anti-reflux medication treatment.
