60 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged=60 years; (2) Fulfilled the criteria for septic shock (as defined by the Surviving Sepsis Campaign 2012); (3) The goals of 6 hours fluid resuscitation has been achieved (CVP 8-12mmHg, MAP>65mmHg, urine output=0.5ml/kg, ScvO2 >70%); (4) Tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Advanced cancer, severe malnutrition, acute liver failure, low tidal volume ventilation,pregnant women,ultrasound image is not possible to obtain
