Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients were included if they were 18 yr or older, undergoing elective surgery with general anesthesia, and able to complete the QoR-15 and PQRS testing in Chinese.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were not enrolled if they had any current psychiatric disturbance, or were undergoing neurosurgery that could impair their ability to participate with the assessmentor had a known history of alcohol or drug dependence, or had any severe preexisting medical condition that limited objective assessment after operation, or were undergoing emergency surgery,or the presence of any life-threatening postoperative complication.
