Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The present study enrolled the consecutive patients with drug-refractory symptomatic LPeAF

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: sick sinus syndrome, pacemaker implantation, diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction, recent myocardial infarction (<6 months), severe complications during the procedure.
