Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ?T2DM subjects:The criteria of diagnosis of type 2 diabetes recommended by WHO in 1999 were adopted, these newly diagnosed T2DM subjects had fasting plasma glucose levels>7.0mmol/L and 2h OGTT glucose levels>11.1mmol/L;?Normal control: healthy person.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: T2DM subjects who were treated with oral hypoglycemic agents were excluded to avoid the possible confounding effects of anti-diabetic medications.T1DM,individuals with gestational diabetes,active hepatitis/liver cirrhosis,chronic renal failure on hemodialysis,congestive heart failure or other known major disease were precluded from the study
