Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) A parent history of renal failure with SHPT, as well as medication intolerance; (2) The value of iPTH is more than 600pg/ml; (3) There was at least one enlarged possible ectopic SHPT nodule disclosed by ultrasound and accessible to MWA treatment; (4) The 99mTc sestamibi scan showed the nodule had radionuclide concentration on both early and delay phases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Prothrombin time of more than25s, prothrombin activity lower than40%,and platelet count less than 40 cells*10^9/L; (2) Serious complications like cardiac insufficiency or hypertension ,and difficult correct by drug therapy; (3) Patients presenting with voice changes underwent an otolaryngological visit and laryngoscopy to exclude such injury.
