18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled for various elective surgery under general anesthesia; 2. Age between 18-60 years; 3. Can give written consent by himself; 4. Adequate IV access; 5. ASA GRADE 1 and 2; 6. Patients of either sex.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient having chronic obstructive airway disease, asthma, hypertension and any other systemic illness; 2. Upper respiratory tract infection within last 2 weeks; 3. Chronic smoker; 4. Patient on angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, bronchodilators and steroids; 5. Head and neck surgery; 6. Premedication; 7. Abnormal intracranial, intraocular and intraabdominal pressure; 8. History of allergy.
