Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with liver cirrhosis admitted between 2011 and 2013; 2. Concomitant diseases were not restricted; 3. Age and sex were not restricted.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. No diagnosis of liver cirrhosis; 2. Malignancy, especially hepatocellular carcinoma; 3. No data regarding portal vein patency or obstruction.
