20 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Malignant obstructive jaundice caused by cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic head carcinoma; 2. Bilirubin concentration exceeding 5.0 mg/dL and without signs of cholangitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. any previous ERCP; 2. elevated serum amylase; 3. current treatment with antibiotics; 4. pathological endoscopic findings in the upper gastrointestinal tract during ERCP; 5. concomitant systemic diseases with immunosuppression; 6. celial disease, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease; 7. treatment with medications that might act on TJ regulation or apoptosis.
