Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Definition of HCAP: HCAP is defined as a diagnosis of pneumonia according to ATS/IDSA guidelines, including patients with any of the following: hospitalization in an acute care hospital for two or more days within 90 days of the infec-tion; residence in a nursing home or long-term care facility; recent intravenous antibiotic therapy, chemoth-erapy, or wound care within the past 30 days of the current infection; having attended a hospital or hemodia-lysis clinic; 2. Definition of COPD: COPD is defined according to GOLD 2013 guidelines.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who are diagnosed as HAP or VAP, have accepted an organ transplantation, or have a weak compliance.
