Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The children were included this study if they met the followed criteria: (1) born to a HBsAg-positive mother; (2) received HBIG and hepatitis B vaccine within 24 h after birth with completion of the additional two doses of hepatitis B vaccines within 6 months; (3) documented HBV serology at least once between 7 months and 3 years of age after completion of vaccination.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children born to mothers with co-infection with hepatitis A, C, D, E virus or HIV virus were excluded
