65 Years to 110 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged over 65 years old; 2. a pre-existing diagnosis of permanent; 3. persistent, or paroxysmal AF; 4. development of new-onset AF during their current admission (defined on having an ECG or Holter recording).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are patients without complete clinical follow-up, patients with rheumatic or bacterial valvular heart disease, and patients presented with AF due to transient cause (e.g. perioperation, electrocution disturbance).
