Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. confirmed HCC diagnosis: (1) hepatic cirrhosis or proof of HBV or HCV; (2)typical imaging features,(arterial hypervascularity and venous or delayed phase washout); (3)AFP>=400ug/L one month or AFP>=200ug/L two months; 2. liver dysfunction defined as elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase and serum aspartate aminotransferase less than three times above the upper normal range, no vascular invasion, no metastasis out of liver; 3. liver function above child B; 4. informed consent must be signed by patients; 5. aged above 18 years and lower than 80yrs; male and female.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. contradiction of TAE; 2. mental disease; 3. metastasis out of liver; 4. severe important organ disease; 5. predicted OS less than 3 months.
