18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Participants fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for PSD; (2) Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17) score was greater than 17; (3) the age of onset was 55 years or older,male or female; (4) They were approved by the medical ethics committee for Clinical Research of Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University and written informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Take mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, or any anti-depressant medication before this study; (2) Have serious risk of suicide; (3) Have a history of depression or other mental illness history;(4)Have obvious abnormalities laboratory examinations.
