18 Years to 70 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Histologically or cytologically confirmed diagnosis of Stage IIIB/IV lung cancer patients initiating chemotherapy; 2. Expected survival time was more than 6 months; 3. Karnofsky Performance Scale (KPS)>60%; 4. Heparin-based primary thromboprophylaxis was not used during chemotherapeutic cycles.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe cardiac, hepatic or renal dysfunction (cardiac function classification, by NYHA, grade III or IV; total bilirubin >=33umol/L; creatinine >=171umol/L or urine output <=500ml/24h); 2. Pregnant or lactating women; 3. Patients treated with high-dose glucocorticoids more than 30 days for other diseases; 4. Patients treated with immunosuppressive agents; 5. Patients with medical history of VTE or diagnosed with VTE in 48 hous of admission; 6. Patients unable to receive chemotherapy for some reasons; 7. Patients who can not provide prior informed consent or delayed informed consent; none of the above is desirable.
