Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female aged 18 years old and over; 2. Able and willing to provide signed informed consent; 3. person with type 2 diabetes, impair glucose regulation and normal glucose tolerance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Impaired hepatic function with ALT higher than 3 X upper limit of normal; 2. Impaired renal function with serum Cr higher than 1.5 mg/dl; 3. Myocardial infarction, stroke or TIA within 6 months prior to informed consent;
