Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient that had symptomatic knee osteoarthritis in at least one knee for at least 6 months prior to study entry

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had significant medical complications (e.g., hemiplegia, heart disease, and gout, which might affect the results of the study) were excluded
