18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 presenting with and acute diarrhea defined as 3 unformed stools in the previous 24 hours, and duration less than 4 days without other complications nor use antibiotics because of other conditions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. have visible blood in patient's stool 2. with a high temperature (more than 39 degrees C); 3. Being on chemotherapy or have a problem on immune system; 4. allergic to berberine, turmeric, or loperamide; 5. pregnant woman.
