18 Years to 120 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=65 years nonpregnant patients; 2. ASA I-III; 3. Patients were scheduled to undergo abdominal surgery; 4. BMI<35kg/m2; 5. Patients were presented for general anethesia combined with lower thoracic epidural anesthesia (T9-T10 or T10-T11 level); 6. Abdominal CT examination was done before operation; 7. No anticoagulation therapy in postoperative period; 8. Obtained written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindicate to central neuraxial block; 2. Unable to follow instructions of anesthesiologists(eg.unconsciousness or insanity); 3. History of spine surgery or obvious abnormality in thoracic spine; 4. Having an allergy to ultrasound gel or local anethetics; 5. Postoperative anticoagulation therapy was performed; 6. Refuse to participate in this study.
