Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with essential hypertension: including newly diagnosed hypertensive patients, 3 times in different day, the average systolic blood pressure = 140 mmHg and / or diastolic blood pressure = 90 mmHg; or is receiving antihypertensive treatment of hypertensive patients; 2. Aged 60 years or older; 3. Low density lipoprotein (LDL-C) greater than or equal to 2.6mmol/L, less than 4.1mmol/L; 4. Have the ability to provide informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Trial drug contraindications, statin adverse drug history; 2. Clarification of clinical diagnosis of complications: diabetes; Congenital heart disease; Rheumatic heart disease; Atrial fibrillation; History of angina pectoris; history of myocardial infarction; history of coronary revascularization; History of cerebral ischemic stroke; history of cerebral hemorrhage; history of transient ischemic attack (TIA); Peripheral atherosclerotic disease; 3. familial hypercholesterolemia or secondary dyslipidemia; 4. has been or past three months have been taking lipid-lowering drugs; 5. acute and chronic liver disease (Chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis; ALT> 3 times the normal upper limit); 6. inflammatory myopathy or creatine kinase (CK)> 3 times the normal upper limit; 7. Triglycerides = 4.5 mmol/L; 8. Malignant tumor history or life expectancy is less than 2 years; 9. The use of cortisol or other interfering studies is carried out in serious cases or in other trials of medication.
