Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Stroke patients in accordance with the diagnostic criteria established by the fourth national cerebrovascular disease academic conference in 1995; 2. first-ever stroke; 3. obvious cognitive impairments (MMSE=10-24,MoCA<26); 4. stable vital signs, no progression of neurological symptoms; 5. no severe aphasia and able of accomplishing cognitive tests; 6. normal cognitive functions before stroke; 7. aged 30-75 years; 8. able of tolerating mri scan; 9. voluntary participation and signed the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Non-first stroke; 2. complete left prefrontal cortex injury; 3. transcranial surgery or skull defect; 4. metal or cardiac pacemaker implants; 5. history of brain tumor, brain trauma, seizures and risks of seizures; 6. cognitive function recession before stroke; 7. any neuropsychiatric comorbidity and affective disorder that could influence the test outcomes; 8. any other factors that could affect cognitive assessments and treatments.
