control group:ultrasound guided nerve block with 0.375% ropivacaine 30ml

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients receive open reduction and internal fixation of upper limb fracture under single shot peripheral nerve block combined with sedation; 2. Aged>18yr; 3. Inform consent is signed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients refuse; 2. Patients with peripheral nerve damage or lesion who is contraindicated to nerve block; 3. Chronic analgesics use; 4. Massive compound trauma; 5. Pregnant women.

breakthrough pain after surgery;total consumption of morphine, timing of bolus, effective/uneffective bolus, timing of salvage bolus;

sleep quality during the night of surgery day and POD1;
