Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: T2DM was diagnosed according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) criteria. Aged <60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were diabetic patients who with family history of hearing impairment, cerebrovascular accidents or neurological medical conditions, received ototoxic medication or exposed to unsafe noise in the past
