Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult Chinese patients with primary nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) who will be receiving chemo-radiotherapy will be recruited at the out-patient clinic in the department of clinical oncology, Queen Mary Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous surgery done for his NPC, known or active skin problems, previous adverse skin reactions to laser treatment, known radiation hypersensitivity, scleroderma, those with a tracheostomy in place, age 75y or inability to give informed consent will be excluded from participation.
