Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Conventional symptoms of hyperthyroidism associated with a typical enlarged goiter; 2. elevated levels of free T3, free T4 and depressed TSH level; 3. The test of thyroidal iodine-131 uptake was conducted to exclude the subacute thyroiditis when necessary.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnant and lactating women; 2. patients combined with thyroid tumor or thyroiditis.
