Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged from 1 month old to 12 months old; 2. Multifocal IH; 3. Segmental IH (PHACE syndrome was excluded); 4. Localized IH (diameter longer than 5 cm); 5. Widespread superficial IH; 6. Ulcerating IH or high risk of ulceration (necks/axilla/joints); 7. Breast IH in girls; 8. IH with higher functional risks including ear/labial/eyelid/nose/perineal lesions; 9. Airways or subglottic IH (MRI shows no more than 50% of airway obstruction); 10. IH of parotid gland.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Life-threatening symptoms (progressive expiratory dyspnea, cardiac distress, etc.); 2. Visceral/digestive/intracranial IH; 3. Infant bronchial asthma or family history of asthma; 4. History of respiratory distress; 5. Heart block; 6. Bradycardia; 7. Severe cardiac anomalies; 8. Dysfunctions of the liver and kidneys; 9. Received previous therapies followed by propranolol treatment; 10. Unwillingness to sign a consent form.
