Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Obese patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation, aged 18~60 years old, American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)physical status I-III, BMI < 50, are recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled hypertension, Myocardial infarction, Ischemic cardiomyopathy, Taking ß-blockers, interincisor distance<3cm, neck radiation change or neck mass, unstable cervical spine, limited or severely limited jaw protrusion, severe sleep apnea, signs of upper respiratory infection and allergy or sensitivity to sevoflurane or to propofol are excluded.
