Group B:Use vacuum-formed retainer.

19 Years to 29 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. native Chinese who completed active orthodontic treatment in West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University; 2. over 18 years old; 3. were able to pronounce correctly designed Chinese and English words.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) cleft lip or cleft palate; (2) surgical correction of the jaws; (3) dialects; (4) hearing and speech disorders; (5) temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction syndrome; (6) under 18 years old; (7) suffered from serious periodontitis.
