Intervention Group:Mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) for grief
Control Group:Wait list control (to be provided the same intervention at the end of the project)

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Parents of children with a child who died of cancer or cancer related death; 2) at least 6 months have been passed since the death of the child.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) parents being unable to read Chinese or understand Cantonese as the intervention will be conducted in group format in Chinese Cantonese; 2) unable to participate in the 8 week intervention; 3) the presence of severe physical or mental health conditions which hinder the participation of the 8 week intervention.
