Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Parturients American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status classification I or II, aged 23-34 years, pregnancy of 37-41 weeks, singletons were screened
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Parturients who had heart, liver and kidney function abnormal, with a history of chronic pain, opioid drug and/or alcohol abuse, chronic headaches, backaches, or peripheral neuropathy, spinal anesthesia contraindicated, pregnancy with other complications(such as: preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, liver disease, hyperthyroidism, and so on), and those who were unwilling to give written consent and could not understand the use of PCEA or the visual analogue scale (VAS) were excluded.
