Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hilar cholangiocarcinoma, Pancreatic head carcinoma

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known allergy to the study drugs, heart failure (ejection fraction <40%), and/or severe respiratory disease (vital capacity and/or forced expiratory volume <50%) preoperatively were excluded from this study
