Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) 2 to 18 years old; (2) which have genetic testing results fulfils the diagnostic criteria of beta-thalassemia intermedia; (3) wihout any blood transfusion other anti-anemia treatment in last 12 months; (4) Hb 60g/L-100g/L before recruiting; (5) volunteer with informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) with any disease of cardiovascular tem, liver, kidney, alimentary canal, endocrine tem or immune tem or with other primary disease of primary disease; (2) atopy or allergic to 2 or more drugs; (3) with any mental disease or psychological disorder or bad compliance.
