18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) provide informed consent and can follow up; 2) All patients older than 18 years; 3) Patients who presented with neovascularization on the iris and the anterior chamber angle and had an established diagnosis of NVG; 4) Patients with uncontrolled IOP of 22mm Hg or more on maximally tolerated medical therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients unwilling or unable to provide informed consent to participate in the study or to adhere to the study requirements, including implant randomization and required follow-up visits, were excluded; 2) NVG secondary to intraocular tumors or uveitis; 3) earlier cyclodestructive procedure, scleral buckle procedure, previous glaucoma drainage device implantation or silicone oil surgery; 4) pregnancy; 5) Patients with no light perception.
