60 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: cross sectional survey: those aged 60 or above; those have lived in the 8 communities for at least one year; those with normal communication ability; those who volunteered for the study. randomised controlled trail: elderly who get a score of GDS between 11 and 25 in the cross sectional survey; elderly who volunteered for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: cross sectional survey: those with cognitive disorder and history of other sever mental illness; those with severe physical disease. randomised controlled trail: elderly who get a score of GDS more than 26(severely depressive)in the cross sectional survey; elderly who are receiving medication therapy for depression.
