Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: obstetric patients (ASA physical status I or II, aged 20 to 42 yr) scheduled for cesarean delivery under CSEA were included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded were parturients with pre-operative fever (>38 Centigrade), hyperthyroidism, cardiopulmonary disease, and known history of alcohol or substance abuse.
