Age
45 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Postmenopausal women; 2. New-onset type 2 diabetes; 3. HBA1C more than 7% and less than 9%; 4. Serum25(OH)2D3 less than 25ng/ml.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 diabetes; 2. Hysterectomy or bilateral oophorectomy; 3. Hypercalcemia; 4. Use of diphosphonate, PTH, oestrogen, estrogen receptor modulator, strontium or use of zoledronic acid within one year; 5. Thyroid Disease and severe hepatic and renal dysfunction; 6. Researcher think the subjects not suitable for this trial; 7. Subjects have severe gastrointestinal illnesses which can affect vitamin D absorption.
