Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Older than 75 years old, diagnosed as elderly patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (including simultaneous diagnosed as type 2 diabetes and non-diabetic patients). Subjects must have signed an informed consent document indicating that they understand the purpose of and procedures required for the study and are willing to participate in the study; alcohol and tobacco were not allowed during the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Potential subjects who meet any of the following criteria will be excluded from participating in the study: Severe liver and kidney dysfunction, or who had Severe muscle pain or abnormal liver function after taking statins.
