18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: female patients who scheduled for surgically induced abortion, age, 18-40 years; weight, 45-80 kg; height, 155-175 cm; American Society of Anesthesiologists classification (ASA) ?-II grade; fetal age, 40-55 d, and voluntarily signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: previous vaginal delivery; body temperature >38 °C; regular medication with a ß-blocker, anxiolytic, antidepressant, or opioid; alcohol or drug abuse; obesity (BMI = 30); cardiac, neurological, or psychiatric disease; and enrollment in other clinical trial.
