Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The enrolled patients were above 18 years old, pathologically diagnosed to have malignant tumor and firstly applied PICC. PICCs used were valve-like triple-direction 4Fr catheters manufactured by American Budd Company. The selected patients should meet the requirements of venous puncture and single successful catheterization. They volunteered to take part in this study and received chemotherapy with PICC.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclude patients with multiple phlebitis
