Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patients undergoing elective simple nephrectomy and general anesthesia, to be aged 18 to 65 years, ASA I-III, observing time in PACU longer than 30 min after general anesthesia and no history of mental illness were studied.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following criteria were used to exclude patients from this study: younger than 18 years, pregnancy or lactation, brain surgery, history of mental disorders, use of psychotropic drugs within 6 months prior to surgery, severe allergies, PACU stay after general anesthesia shorter than 30 min, or reliance on a ventilator due to serious system or organ failure, local anaestheisa, peripheral nerve blocks and epidural anesthesia.
