Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) participants were diagnosed as type 2 diabetes according to the standard of WHO (1999); 2) aged from 18 to 70 years old; 3) The history of the disease is less than 3 years; 4) Steady doses of oral medications (including metformin, sulfonylureas, glinides, glycosidase inhibitors, thiazolidinediones or DPP-IV inhibitors) or simplex diet or exercise therapy; 5) Diabetes diet therapy and exercise therapy have good compliance; 6) Participants within the first 3 months did not participate in any drug test.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a history of severe kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, or psychological disorders as well as pregnant or lactating women were excluded.
