Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients (30-60 years of age; weight 50–85 kg; and height 150–180 cm) in American Society of Anesthesiologists class I-II undergoing elective unilateral high ligation and stripping of the great saphenous vein were selected.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with comorbid hypertension, coronary heart disease, cor pulmonale, cerebral infarction, or other cardiac, pulmonary, or cerebral diseases were excluded.
