Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria included an American Society of Anesthesiology physical status of I, II or III, age of 46–65 years, and a body mass index less than or equal to 30.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included contraindications to post-operative patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), an allergy to sufentanil, an allergy to lobaplatin, history of sinus bradycardia or atrioventricular block, history of major psychiatric disorder, history of substance abuse, current opioid use and history of chronic pain.
