Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of AE; (2) Aged 14-75 years; (3) One of the following three conditions: severe neurological dysfunction in the onset of disease, modified Rankin Scale (mRS) between 4 and 5 points; accompanied by respiratory failure and with mechanical ventilation supporting; admitted in ICU due to the conditions of mental disorder or status epilepticus; (4) Within 3 months after AE onset; (5) The family of the patient voluntarily signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with serious diseases such as cardiac insufficiency, arrhythmia and coagulation dysfunction; (2) Past history of allergy to immunoglobulin; (3) Existence severe nerve dysfunction before the onset of AE, mRS more than 2 points.
