Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients older than 18 years of age with gender, nationality and race; 2. Newly admitted patients requiring mechanical ventilation; 3. Stay in the ICU for more than 48 hours; 4. The study conforms to the Helsinki declaration and Chinese clinical experiment research regulations, and adults or their families have informed and agreed to participate in the experiment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. < 18 years of age; 2. Pregnancy or lactation; 3. Gastric surgery; 4. Use of antiacid drugs in recent two weeks; 5. Contraindication of the stomach tube; 6. Gastrointestinal bleeding; 7. Diarrhea; 8. The prognosis of the underlying disease is bad, and may be the main cause of death of the patient, such as severe brain injury, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and late malignant tumor; 9. History of allergy to proton pump inhibitors.
