Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty; 2. aged 18 years and more; 3. ASA grade I to III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. after patellatomy; 2. pregnancy; 3. acute or chronic knee infection; 4. neuromuscular disease involving lower limbs; 5. severe systemic disease (eg. heart failure, renal insufficiency, coagulopathy); 6. cognitive function deficits or mental disorders; 7. contraindication of spinal anesthesia; 8. long-term use of narcotics; 9. allergy to drugs used in the study; 10. refuse to sign consent.
