Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients anticipated the research and signed the informed consent voluntarily; 2. Patients treated in our hospital with depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and underwent MECT for the first time; 3. From 16-55 years old male and female; 4. Patients without any psychotic drugs before MECT; 5. Patients were not included in other trials in the past three months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients refused to anticipate; 2. Patients suffered from the serious diseases of important organs, including liver and kidney dysfunction, brain organic disease, NYHA>=III dysfunction of blood coagulation, sick sinus syndrome, bradycardia(HR<55bpm), atrioventricular block of degree II and III; 3. Dexmedetomidine contraindication.
